Maria De Los Angeles (Gutierrez) Flores

Maria De Los Angeles Flores, 83, of Leipsic died @ 3:38 p.m. Saturday April 25, 2020 at St Rita's Medical Center. She was born April 4, 1937 in CD Guerrero, Mexico to the late Alberto Gutierrez Orozco and the late Hortencia Trevino Siller.  On August 31, 1955 she married her loving husband Alfonso Flores who preceded her in death on June 4, 1994.

Survivors include her daughter Rosa Maria (the late George) Yribe of Cleveland, Ohio; 4 grandchildren Soledad Warner, Maria Lowe, Laura Tinta, and Nancy Flores.  Daughter, Araceli (Ray) Flores of Leipsic; 3 grandchildren, Marcos Flores, the late Justin Flores, and Ashley Flores.  Daughter, Maria (Tim) Richardson of Leipsic; 3 grandchildren, Delores Meloney, Amber Parker, and Clarissa Parker.  Daughter, Gracie (Adam) Lomeli of Leipsic; 2 grandchildren, Olivia Yetman and Adam Lomeli Jr.  Daughter, Catalina (Victor) Tovar of Mission TX; 2 grandchildren, Victor A Tovar, and Victoria Tovar.  Son, Alfonso A. (Cammie) Flores Jr. of Leipsic; 3 grandchildren, Corina Flores, Alfonso D. Flores, and Mia Flores.  Son, Rene J. (Sonya) Flores of Leipsic; 3 grandchildren, Angelica Flores, Michaela Flores, and Rene Flores Jr. Daughter, Christina Torres of Leipsic, 2 grandchildren, Luis Torres and Estrella Torres.  She also leaves behind 35 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren. Her siblings include, Sister Alma Briseno of Zapata TX, Armando Trevino of CD Guerrero, Mexico, along with 3 brothers that preceded her in death; Luis Trevino, Fernando Trevino, and Roel Trevino.

Maria was the most loving and dedicated Mother, Grandmother, and friend to all.  She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Maria's faith in her God and family was unmatched.  She lived and breathed every breath for her children, grandchildren and all those she loved so dearly.  She will be missed more than words can say, but never forgotten. Her heart was golden just like the paradise she is enjoying now with her dear Lord.

Due to the restrictions regarding public gatherings, a private funeral mass will be held 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic with Father Stephen Schroeder officiating. However a live streaming of the service will be on St. Mary's Facebook page. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  A private visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the church.
