Marie M. Gerdeman

OTTOVILLE - Marie M. Gerdeman, 90, of Ottoville died 9:40 a.m., Saturday, November 6, 2021 at The Meadows of Delphos.  She was born September 21, 1931 in Ottoville to the late Frank and Catherine (Burgei) Gasser.  On April 18, 1959 she married Bernard Gerdeman who survives in Ottoville.

Other survivors include four sons: Dan Gerdeman of Ottoville, Jim (Penny) Gerdeman of Ft. Jennings, Gary (Sue) Gerdeman of Delphos and Keith Gerdeman of Ottoville; four grandchildren: Derek (Allison) Gerdeman, Lance (Kathryn) Gerdeman, Matt Gerdeman and Monica (Joel) Bruskotter; and two great-grandchildren: Bishop and Alia Bruskotter.

She was also preceded in death by seven brothers: Ed, Carl, Joe, Arnold, Jerome, Eugene and Frank Gasser; and two sisters: Barbara Kramer and Felicia "Woody" Kill.

Marie was a homemaker and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville and its Altar Rosary Society.  She enjoyed puzzles, crocheting and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Funeral mass will begin 10:30 a.m. Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville with Fr. Jerome Schetter officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Ottoville.  Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Jackson Twp with a scripture service beginning at 3:45 p.m.
