Marilyn J. Cupp

LEIPSIC - Marilyn J. Cupp, 82, of Leipsic died at 6:34 p.m. Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at her residence. She was born January 1, 1936 in Henry County to the late Russell and Helen (Ritter) Thomas. On December 29, 1961 she married Kenneth E. Cupp who died July 29, 2001.

She is survived by three children, Keith (Gwen) Cupp of Leipsic, Ann Daugherty of Winchester, KY., and Laura (Chad) Rigel of Leipsic; eight grandchildren, Gavin Cupp, Julia Cupp, Sara Cupp, Emily Daugherty, Matthew Daugherty, Grace Rigel, Claire Rigel, and Ella Rigel; a sister, Martha (Ted) Frick of Miller City; and a sister-in-law, Pat Thomas of Leipsic. She was also preceded in death by a son, Ryan M. Cupp and three siblings, Richard Thomas, Madeline Thomas, and Robert Thomas..

Marilyn worked for many businesses in downtown Leipsic throughout the years. She was a loving wife, mom, and grandmother.

A Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 12, 2018 at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic with Pastor Ruth Carder-Crist officiating. Burial will follow in Sugar Ridge Cemetery. Leipsic. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
