Mario R. Hernandez

NAPOLEON – Mario R. Hernandez, 62, of Napoleon, died 12:41p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2022 at his residence.  He was born on October 22, 1959, in Lima to the late Mario and Rosa (Miranda) Hernandez.

Survivors include five children: Ernestina (Mike Cardenas) Hernandez of San Antonio, TX, Anthony (Dustin) Hoorman-Hernandez of Ottawa, Alejandro (Billie Jo) Hernandez of Delta, Tessa Gutierrez and Sarah Gutierrez both of Defiance; mother to the older three children, Bertha (Trujillo) Hernandez of San Antonio, TX; six grandchildren; a sister, Alicia (Greg) Nuzum of Findlay and a brother, Arthur (Amy) Hernandez.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, Manuel Hernandez.

Mario was a member of the Raza Unida Organization.  He enjoyed every day, especially spending time with family and was very passionate about his grandchildren.  He loved old cars, classic model cars, rock and roll and hispanic music and collecting things, including Native American items.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 16, 2022 at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic.
