Marjorie June Miller

DELPHOS - Marjorie June (Amstutz) Miller, age 86, of Delphos passed away at home on Wednesday, December 18, 2019.

She was born August 9, 1933 near Bluffton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Albert and Rena (Moore) Amstutz. Marjorie married Richard Miller on February 16, 1952 and he passed away October 31, 1988. She relocated from Ohio to Port St. Lucie, FL in 1987 and returned to Ohio in 2008.

Surviving are seven children, Mark (Sheril) Miller of Ft. Wayne, IN, Rhonda VanVliet of Sylva, NC, Kent Miller of Defiance, Wade Miller and Rodney Scott Miller both of Briceton, Teresa Hire and Jeffery (Sally) Miller both of Port St. Lucie, FL; 23 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; a sister, Alberta Amstutz Welch; and a brother, Richard (Emily) Amstutz. Marjorie was also preceded in death by her son, Bruce and her siblings, Robert Amstutz, Selma Long, Dorothy Amstutz, Dale Amstutz, and Linda Beach

Marge retired from Dana Corporation in Antwerp. She was a devout Christian, her faith was of the utmost importance to her. When her children were young, she often requested the older children read the Bible aloud for their younger siblings. Marjorie was a proud Grandma who loved to read, could beat anyone in a game of Skip Bo, and made the best oatmeal cookies.

A Funeral Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 23, 2019 at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Jackson Township with Rev. David Crider officiating. Burial will follow in Cascade Cemetery, Cloverdale. Visitation will be from11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday at the funeral home.
