Marjorie M. Wagner
Cloverdale – Marjorie M. Wagner, 82, Cloverdale, died 11:46 p.m. Monday, April 30, 2012 at Vancrest Healthcare Center, Delphos. She was born July 29, 1929 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana to the late Ed and Florence (Scherschel) Busick. On August 13, 1949, she married Arlo Wagner. He died October 5, 1997.
Marjorie is survived by 6 daughters: Gale (Robert) Powelson of Monroeville, Indiana, Lisa (Alan) Brenneman of Dupont, Marilyn Wagner of Cloverdale, Pamela (Mark) Miller of Cloverdale, Kathleen Kimmel of Kalida, Barbara (Craig) Wilson of Napoleon; 19 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters: Shirley (Edwin) Rosswurm of Albion, Indiana, and Rose (Bob) Grubb of Kendallville, Indiana; a sister-in-law: Marsha Busick of Monroeville, Indiana. She is preceded in death by a son: Ricky Wagner and a brother: Bill Busick.
Marjorie retired as a cook for Paradise Oaks Nursing Home in Cloverdale. She was a faithful member of St. Barbara's Catholic Church, Cloverdale and had been active in its Altar Rosary Society, church choir and served as a Eucharistic Minister. She loved her family and children and sacrificed much for them.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 4, 2012 at St. Barbara's Catholic Church, Cloverdale, with Fr. John Stites and Fr. Herman Scherger officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Jackson Township, corner of St. Rts. 224 and 634 where there will be a scripture service at 2 p.m. with a rosary service to follow.
Memorials may be given to St. Barbara's Catholic Church or the charity of donor's choice.
