Marjorie A. Rieman

OTTAWA - Marjorie A. Rieman, 81, of Ottawa, passed away 11:48 a.m. Monday, February 7, 2022 at The Meadows of Ottawa surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 26, 1940 in Lima to the late Ralph and Julitta (Nuveman) Kuhlman.  On November 15, 1958, she married James A. Rieman. He died on October 13, 2000.

Survivors include six children: Dan (Lisa) Rieman, Lynn (Al) Laubenthal, both of Ottawa, Jeana (Jerry) Burgei of Delphos, Dave (Lynne) Rieman of Ottawa, Carol (Mike) Korte of Bowling Green and Jay (Luann) Rieman of Ottawa; 26 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and three on the way; seven siblings: Martha (Dick) Schroeder, Jim (Ann) Kuhlman, both of Ottawa, Norm (Jean) Kuhlman of Leipsic, Mike (Jan) Kuhlman of Ottawa, Ed Kuhlman of North Baltimore, Duane (Irene) Kuhlman of Miller City, Randy (Brenda) Kuhlman of Leipsic; a sister-in-law, Joann Kuhlman of Ottawa.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers: Frank and Nicholas Kuhlman; and a sister-in-law, Shirley Kuhlman.

Marjorie was a driver for Putnam County Council on Aging for 18 years. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa where she was a minister of praise and a member of the Altar Rosary Society and Catholic Ladies of Columbia. Marjorie enjoyed gathering with her friends at Arby's for coffee and spending time with her loving family and grandchildren.

Funeral Mass will begin 9:30 a.m. Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa with Fr. Scott Kramer officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.  Visitation will be held 4 - 8 p.m. Friday, February 11, 2022 with a scripture service beginning at 7:50 p.m at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Putnam County Council on Aging, Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic School or Putnam County Hospice.
