Marjorie Jean Shaffer
Leipsic - Marjorie Jean Shaffer, 78, of Leipsic, died 8:15 p.m. Sunday, July 6, 2014 at The Meadows of Leipsic.  She was born February 18, 1936 in Leipsic to the late Ross and Ardath (Jones) Lindsey.  On August 14, 1955, she married Donald Shaffer.  He died August 4, 2002.
Marjorie is survived by her 2 children: Julie Brown of Leipsic, Steve Shaffer of Leipsic; 4 grandchildren and one on the way and a sister-in-law: Dorothy Roy of Findlay.  She is also preceded in death by 3 children: Kenny, Tommy and Linda Shaffer and a sister: Helen Newell.
Marjorie was a bank teller at the Bank of Leipsic.  She was a member of the former West Leipsic United Methodist Church and Leipsic's Eastern Star.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME,  Leipsic with Pastor Tom Graves officiating.   Burial will follow in the Sugar Ridge Cemetery, Leipsic.  Visitation will be from 11 a.m. till 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to Putnam County Hospices.
