Mark F. Warnecke

OTTAWA – Mark F. "Bubba" Warnecke, 60, of Ottawa, passed away at 6:16 p.m. on Sunday, February 18, 2024, at Mercy Health St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.  He was born April 1, 1963, in Lima to the late Roger and Esther (Sybert) Warnecke.

Mark is survived by his siblings:  Mildred (John) Zollner, of Kalamazoo, MI., Paul Warnecke of Delphos, John (Linda) Warnecke, Darlene (Dennis) Romes, both of Ottawa, Barbara (Samuel) Bowers, Harold Warnecke, both of Columbus Grove, Beth (Lester) Flores, and Vickie (T.J. Skinner) Warnecke, both of Ottawa; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Patricia Warnecke; a nephew, Cory Smith; two nieces, Kayla Turner and Heather Turner; and a great-nephew, Jagguare Rich.

Mark was a tow motor driver at Unverferth Manufacturing, Kalida.  He was a member of the Sons of American Legion, Ottawa.  Mark was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes and Steelers fan.  He loved going to the casino, playing cards and golfing.

Funeral services will begin 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 22, 2024, at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.  Burial will follow in Ottawa River Cemetery, Rimer.  Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.  The family would like everyone to wear Ohio State or Steelers apparel.
