Mark R. Hohenbrink
OTTAWA – Mark R. Hohenbrink, 59, of Ottawa, passed away at 2:54 a.m. on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at Mercy Health St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. He was born July 10, 1965, in Lima to the late Robert W. and Juliann D. (Unterbrink) Hohenbrink. On July 17, 2010, he married Lisa Hoehn, who survives in Ottawa.
Mark is survived by two sisters: Deb (Tim) Burwell of Ottawa, and Jill (Brian) Vaughan of Pandora; five nieces and nephews; six great-nieces and great-nephews; and mother-in-law, Rosemary Hoehn.
He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa K of C, where he was a 4th degree Knight. He was also a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Ottawa, Glandorf Rod and Gun, Leipsic Fishing and Hunting Club, Ottawa VFW Post 9142, and Miller City Sportsman Club. Mark served as the Chaplain of the Sons of the American Legion. He enjoyed doing Civil War reenactments with his wife.
Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa, with Fr. Scott Kramer officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. A visitation will be held Tuesday from 2 to 8 p.m. at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa with at K of C Rosary Service at 7:00p.m.
