Martin "Rick" Lawhorn

CLOVERDALE – Martin "Rick" Lawhorn, 63, of Cloverdale passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at 12:06 a.m. at his residence.  He was born on September 2, 1959, in Crestline, to James and Noma (Gilbert) Lawhorn.  His father is deceased, and his mother survives in Cloverdale.  He married Chris Dearth, who survives in Cloverdale.

Rick is also survived by two sons: Chadwick Lawhorn and Shawn Lawhorn; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and five brothers.

He is preceded in death by a brother.

A funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 13, 2023, at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental.  Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Dupont.  A visitation will be held on Friday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
