Marvin D. McDougle
CONTINENTAL – Marvin D. McDougle, 74, of Continental, died at 7:20 p.m. Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo.  He was born November 3, 1937 in Pleasant Bend, Henry County, OH to the late Glen and Clara (Boggs) McDougle.  On February 21, 1976, he married Peggy Pitney and she survives in Continental.  Also surviving is a son: Stacy McDougle of Continental and 2 brothers: Vern (Shirley) McDougle and Leon (Linda) McDougle both of Defiance.
Marvin retired from General Motors, Defiance.  He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of the Continental American Legion and New Bavaria VFW.
A funeral service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 17, 2012 at Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Continental with Deacon Joe Heeter officiating. Burial will follow in Monroe Cemetery, Continental with military rites by Continental and New Bavaria American Legion.  Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to service Monday at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental.
