Marvin R. Slattman
OAKWOOD – Marvin R. Slattman, 49, of Oakwood died at 8:53 a.m. Friday, August 10, 2012 at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, IN.  He was born October 29, 1962 in Lima to H. Bernard and Evelyn (Leatherman) Slattman. His mother is deceased. His father survives in Oakwood.  Also surviving are 2 brothers: James (Robin) Slattman of Marysville and Jerry Slattman of Cloverdale and several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Marvin was a small engine repairman.  His funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 13, 2012 at Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Oakwood with Rev. Terry Porter officiating.  Burial will follow in Prairie Chapel Cemetery, Oakwood.  Visitation will be from 2 to 8 pm Sunday and one hour prior to service Monday at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Oakwood.
