Mary Ann Hermiller
OTTAWA – Mary Ann Hermiller, 83, of Ottawa, passed away at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at Mercy Health St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. She was born October 28, 1941, in Helena, Ohio to the late William and Victoria (VanCompernolle) Bowser. On September 17, 1966, she married John F. Hermiller, who survives in Ottawa.
She is also survived by five children: Stephen (Cindy) Hermiller of New Baltimore, MI, John T. (Nikki) Hermiller of Westerville, Daphne Hermiller of Powell, David (Tina) Hermiller of Cheney, WA and Amy (Jason) Destein of Wexford, PA; six grandchildren: Katherine Hermiller, Ian Michael Thomas, Kirsten Hermiller, Bo Hermiller, Bella Destein and Zachary Destein; and two sisters: Anna Marie (Robert) Amlin and Dorothy Carp, both of Fostoria.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Edward Carp.
Mary Ann was a homemaker and also worked in banking. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf. Mary Ann was an avid fan of the Ottawa-Glandorf Titans and formerly served as the Ottawa-Glandorf Band Booster Treasurer. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 a.m., Monday, September 29, 2025, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf with Fr. Matt Keller officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. on Sunday and one hour prior to the service on Monday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.
