Mary Theresa Kahle

MILLER CITY – Mary Theresa Kahle, 80, of Miller City, passed away at 4:08 p.m. on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at Mercy Health St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.  She was born December 8, 1942, in Lima to the late Henry and Irene (Langhals) Kahle.

Mary is survived by a brother: LeRoy (Bonnie) Kahle of Miller City; two nieces: Beth (Chris) Tobe, Michelle (Jason) Brown, and Brent (Danielle) Kahle; six great nieces and nephews: Liam and Olivia Tobe, Mia and Emma Davidson, Keegan and Raelyn Kahle.

She is preceded in death by a brother: Melvin Kahle.

Mary was a 1961 graduate of Miller City High School. She worked as a LPN at St. Rita's where she retired after 30 plus years on 3rd shift.  She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Miller City, where she taught 3rd grade CCD.  Mary had been very active at St. Isadore Catholic Church.  She enjoyed sewing and reading and most of all she loved her family and spending time with her nieces, nephew and great nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, March 6, 2023, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Miller City with Father Scott Perry officiating.  Burial will follow at St. Isadore Cemetery, Cuba.  A visitation will be held on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa, and again on Monday from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the church.
