Mary Barb Klausing

GLANDORF - Mary Barb Klausing, 68, of Glandorf died at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, July 10, 2016 at The Meadows of Ottawa. She was born December 11, 1947 in Ottawa to the late Joseph and Mary (Romer) Karl, Sr.

She is survived by her son: Kevin Klausing of Glandorf; two grandchildren: Drake Klausing and Tessa Klausing of Glandorf; two sisters: Margaret Gillette of Ottawa and Cathy (Ron) Salsburey of Glandorf; and two sisters-in-law: Eloise Karl of Kalida and Maxine Karl of Glandorf. Barb was also preceded in death by a son: Paul Joseph Klausing; two brothers: Robert Karl and Joseph Karl, Jr.; and a sister: Rose Ann (Urban) Boecker.

Barb was retired from W.C. Woods in Ottawa. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf where she taught Religion. She was also a member of Glandorf  Catholic Ladies of Columbia.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday, July 14, 2016 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf with Fr. Tony Fortman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday and from 10:30 a.m. until departure for mass on Thursday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa where there will be a C L of C service at 7:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
