Mary A. Eiden

New Bavaria -- Mary A. Eiden, 69, of New Bavrai, died 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at her residence. She was born February 5, 1947 in Defiance, to the late William and Marybelle (Brown) Lenhart. On November 24, 1968 she married Richard Eiden who survives in New Bavaria.

She is survived by two children: Craig (Tonya) Eiden of Hicksville, Dr. Jeff (Dr. Leah) Eiden of Pandora; five grandchildren: Nadiah Eiden, Eric Eiden, Benjamin Eiden, Marco Eiden, Jack Eiden; two siblings: William (Leslie) Lenhart of Columbus and Barbara (Bud) Wheeler of New Haven, IN. She was preceded in death by a daughter: Dawn Marie Eiden.

Mary was a  member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, New Bavaria, and its Altar Rosary Society. She was also a member of the Catholic War Veteran Auxiliary and

Friends of the East Harbor State Park where she was a volunteer for 15 years. Mary retired in 2011 from Miller City-New Cleveland Schools where she had been a secretary and librarian.

A Mass of Christian Burial will begin 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 23, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, New Bavaria with Fr. Nick Cunningham officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.

Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
