Mary "Mudd" Slygh

COLUMBUS GROVE – Mudd Slygh, 68, of Columbus Grove, passed away at 7:15 a.m., Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Springview Manor, Lima. She was born December 19, 1956, in Lima to the late Harold E. and Viola Christine (Williamson) Slygh.

Mudd is survived by five siblings: Caryolyn (Butch) Maag, Walter Slygh, Leonard Slygh, Wilbur Slygh and Rita Sue Potthoff; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by four siblings: Harold Slygh, Mick Slygh, Lonnie Slygh and Jenny Miller.

Mudd formerly worked as a gas station manager. She enjoyed fishing, a competitive pool game and playing cards. She loved being with her family and friends.

Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 13, 2025, at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa with Davey Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Pomeroy Cemetery, Ottawa. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home.
