Mary L. Porter

GROVER HILL -- Mary L. Porter, 88, of Grover Hill died 3:40 a.m. Friday, November 1, 2019 at her residence.  She was born July 9, 1931 in Scott to the late John and Martha (Wormald) Stoller.  On October 18, 1952 she married Rolland J. Porter, who preceded her in death on August 12, 2016.

She is survived by 9 children:  Susan (John) Guyton of Melrose, Sandra King of Grover Hill, David (Cheryl) Porter of Three Rivers, MI, Debra Porter of Grover Hill, Rhonda (Brooks) Priest of Van Wert, Rick (Kathy) Porter of Denton, TX, James Porter of Grover Hill, Pat (Greg) Nichols of Paulding and Amy (Terry) Campbell of Grover Hill; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and a brother:  John (Marlene) Stoller of Sun City, AZ.

Preceding Mary in death are 2 sons:  Timothy and Jeffery Porter; a brother:  Warren Stoller; a grandson:  Tommy King and a great-grandson:  Robbie Seffernick

Mary was a homemaker and a member of Pioneer Christian Ministries, Van Wert.

The funeral service for Mary will be 11:00 a.m. Thurday, November 7, 2019 at Mandale Church of Christ in Christian Union, Mandale with pastors JC Collins and Chuck Oliver officiating.  Burial will follow in Little Auglaize Cemetery, Melrose.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Oakwood and again Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
