Mary J. Hartman
Leipsic – Mary J. Hartman, 89, of Leipsic,  died at 8:15 a.m. Saturday, May 12, 2012 at the Meadows of Leipsic.  She was born October 14, 1922 in Hancock County to the late Roy and Ethel (Andrews) Thomas.  On July 16, 1949, she married "Tip" Luther Willis Hartman.  He died July 15, 1992.
Mary is survived by her children: Kathy (Terry) Schroeder of Ottawa and Mark (Christy) Hartman of Antwerp; 3  grandchildren: Megan (Russell) Brickner, John Schroeder and Eric Schroeder; and one great-grandchild: Carson Brickner.  Mary is preceded in death by 2 brothers: Harold and Gale Thomas.
Mary worked for Ohio Bell, Leipsic Free Press and Home Health, retiring as a clerk for probate court in Putnam County. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church, Leipsic and the Lutheran Church Women's Circle Group and Sigma Phi Delta Club.   Mary loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and her faithful dog, Boots.
Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at the First Lutheran Church, Leipsic, with Rev. George Zornow officiating.  Burial will follow in the Clymer Cemetery, Mount Cory.  Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic and 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the church on Wednesday.
Memorials may be given to Putnam Co. Home Health & Hospice or the First Lutheran Church.
