Mary A. Prowant

CONTINENTAL - Mary A. Prowant, 81, of Continental died at 8:45 p.m. on Monday, October 4, 2021 at the Meadows of Kalida.  She was born June 3, 1940 in Monroe Township to the late Lauren and Violet (Dunlap) Wagner.  On January 10, 1968, she married Harry Prowant, he preceded her in death on August 29, 2020.

Mary is survived by a daughter: Jeanne (Terrence) Tegtmeyer of Vandalia; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers: David (Judy) Wagner of Wyoming, Donald (Karen) Wagner of Continental; and a sister: Erma (Bill) Rau of Continental.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Bonnie Wagner.

Mary had retired from M & S Manufacturing in Hudson, Michigan.  She had attended the Assembly of God Church, Adrian, Michigan.

A private graveside service will be held at North Mount Zion Cemetery, Continental.
