Maxine Martin

OTTAWA - Maxine Martin, 91, of Ottawa died at 1:39 a.m. on Sunday, July 18, 2021 at Mercy Health St. Rita's, Lima.  She was born May 29, 1930 in Hindman, KY to the late Dingus and Minnie (Coburn) Bolen.  On August 16, 1952, she married Curtis J. Martin, he preceded her in death on October 12, 2007.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son: Thomas Martin; two brothers: Kelly Chaffins and Woots Chaffins; and three sisters: Helen Moore, Mavis Lee and Amanda G. Cox.

Maxine was a homemaker. She was also a member of Meadowbrook Baptist Church, Lima.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Harman Cemetery, Gilboa with Pastor Shawn Hurle officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.
