OTTAWA - May I. Wilson, 80, of Ottawa died at 1:15 a.m. Thursday, June 27, 2013 at her residence. She was born February 25, 1933 in Ottawa to the late Buck and Nellie (Fought) Buckmaster. On February 14, 1952 she married Ron Wilson who survives in Ottawa.
Also surviving are 3 children: Connie (James) Duling of Columbus Grove, Randy Wilson of Ottawa, and Shannon (Heather) Wilson of Lewis Center; 5 grandchildren: Brian (Alison) Laubenthal, Tyler Duling, Tara Duling, Shane Wilson, and Alexander Wilson; and a great-grandchild: Weston William Laubenthal. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers: J.J. Fought, Henry Fought, John Fought; and a sister: Helen Oard.
May was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking and loved taking care of her family and friends.
A Funeral Service will be held 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 30, 2013 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa with Pastor Jerry Meyer officiating. Burial will follow in Harman Cemetery, Gilboa. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Rita's Hospice or to the American Cancer Society.
