Melissa Louise (Sehlhorst) Hoffman

KALIDA – Melissa Louise (Sehlhorst) Hoffman, 42, of Kalida, passed away at 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, November 13, 2022, at Mercy Health St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.  She was born May 29, 1980, in Lima to Roger and Marilyn (Moening) Sehlhorst.

She is survived by her parents: Roger (Melinda) Sehlhorst and Marilyn (Bob) Sehlhorst, both of Kalida; her daughter: Sawyer; brothers: Cory (Kristy) Sehlhorst of Ottoville and Russell Sehlhorst of Kalida; nieces and nephew: Kate, Jackson, and Sophia Sehlhorst of Ottoville; and grandmother: Phyllis Moening of Kalida.

Melissa worked at Lima Memorial Hospital as a Respiratory Therapist.  She had a passion for taking care of others.  She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Kalida.    Melissa had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone.  She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend.  Melissa was a very loving mother and adored her daughter Sawyer.

There will be a private viewing.  A Funeral Mass and burial will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Jackson Township.
