Michael Henry "Bub" Rockhold

Continental - Michael Henry "Bub" Rockhold, 66, of Continental died 6:20 p.m. Thursday, June 9, 2016 at St. Rita's Inpatient Hospice, Lima.  He was born March 8, 1950 in Defiance to the late Franklin and Jeanne (Dellinger) Rockhold.  On August 31, 1969, he married Beverly Schmidt who survives in Continental.

Bub is also survived by a daughter: Brenda (Ron) Bruce of Ottawa; 3 grandchildren: Nicholas, Jacob and Bailey Schroeder; a brother: Dr. Jon (Basilda) Rockhold of Lima and a sister: Susan (Wayne) Gibbs of Continental.

Bub was a meat cutter at Rockhold's Market for 20 years and retired from Zachrich Trucking as a billing and rate clerk.  He received his Accounting Degree from Northwestern Business College in Lima.   He was a charter member of Continental Lion's Club and a member of Continental United Methodist Church..

A celebration of his life will begin 3:30 p.m. Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Continental United Methodist Church, with Pastor Chuck Schmunk officiating.  Burial will be at a later date in Monroe Cemetery, Continental.  Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.on Sunday at the church.

Memorials may be given to the Continental United Methodist Church.
