Michael Gerard Hovest

OTTAWA – Michael Gerard Hovest, stillborn, 10:08 a.m., Monday, July 28, 2025, at Dupont Hospital, Ft. Wayne, IN. He is the beloved son of Ronald and Bernadette (Basinger) Hovest, who survive in Ottawa.

Michael is also survived by his maternal grandparents: John and Brenda Basinger of Kalida; and paternal grandmother, Robin Hovest of Ottawa.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Ronald Hovest, Sr.

Michael was loved beyond measure.

Private services will be held by the family. Arrangements are under the direction of LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.
