Michael J. Rampe
Kalida - Michael J. Rampe, 52, of Bowling Green, formerly of Kalida, died 10:57 p.m. Saturday, May 9, 2015 in Bowling Green. He was born April 10, 1963 in Lima to the late Oscar and Julitta (Romer) Rampe.
He is survived by two brothers: Roger (Rita) Rampe and Ron (Nancy) Rampe both of Kalida; four sisters: Rachel (Ben) Nienberg of Glandorf, Grace (Joe) Turnwald and Cyndy (Bob) Miller both of Kalida, and Brenda (Joe) Miller of Ossian, IN; a sister-in-law, Doris Rampe of Kalida; 16 nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Danny Rampe.
Michael was a computer network architect for Holcim (US) Inc in Dundee, Michigan. He was a graduate of Lima Technical College and the University of Phoenix. He was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Bowling Green. He enjoyed camping, gardening and hosting parties for his friends and family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 14, 2015 at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Kalida with Fr. Mark Hoying officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.
Memorials may be given to the charity of donor's choice.
