Michelle Ann "Mikey" Metzger
FT. JENNINGS - Michelle Ann "Mikey" Metzger, 39, of Ft. Jennings, died at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 26, 2014 at her residence.  She was born January 18, 1975, in Lima to Robert and Marilyn (Burgei) Metzger and they survive in Ft. Jennings. Also surviving are 2 sisters: Jennifer (Chad) Brinkman of Ottawa, Nicole Metzger of Delphos, a brother: Matthew (Emilee) Metzger of Ottawa; nieces and nephews: Emma, Carlie, Rilee, & Jack Brinkman; Jordan, Ethan, Camden, Bronson & Naivia Metzer; grandmothers: Mildred Metzger of Ft. Jennings, Avonelle Burgei of Delphos and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by grandfathers: Carl Metzger and John Burgei.
Mikey worked at Brookhill Workshop and was a resident of Rescare at Brookhill for 5 years. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Ft. Jennings.
A Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00 am Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Ft. Jennings with Fr. Charles Obinwa officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 Monday at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Jackson Township and one our prior to mass at the church. There will be a scripture service at 7:00 p.m. Monday.
