Mickey Wilson
Ottawa - Mickey Wilson, 86, of Ottawa died 2:54 p.m. Sunday, November 17, 2013 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.  He was born September 15, 1927 in Ottawa to the late Harvey E. and Alice (English) Wilson.   On April 19, 1946, he married Virginia I. Ross who survives in Ottawa.
Mickey is also survived by 4 children: Kitty (Roy) Sutter of Ottawa; Davey (Diana) Wilson of Lima; Peggy (Marlin) Steffan of Ottawa and Barbara Eldridge of Leipsic; 7 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by 5 sisters, 4 brothers and a grandson, Kyle Steffan.
Mickey retired from Jr. Borgelt and Thomas in Ottawa. He was a member of Lima Church of Christ in Lima and member of the Gilboa American Legion Post #536.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving 1945 to 1947.
Funeral Service will begin 10:30 a.m. Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Ottawa with Rev. Mike Hartman officiating.  Burial will follow in Harman Cemetery, Gilboa with military graveside by Gilboa American Legion, Ottawa American Legion and Ottawa VFW. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to service on Thursday at the funeral home.   Memorials may be given to: Church of Christ, 2435 North Cole Street, Lima.
