Mike Piotrowski
Ottawa - Mike Piotrowski, 92, of Ottawa died Friday, April 24, 2015 at his residence.  He was born January 1, 1923 in Kazanow, Poland to the late Franciszek and Maria Piotrowski.  On June 16, 1946, he married Janina Szymkowicz who died June 18, 1990.
Mike is survived by their children: Christine (Larry) Ellerbrock of Ottawa, Julie (Gary) Bolyard of  Bellefontaine, Mary (Tom) McPherson of Ottawa and Alan (Deborah) Piotrowski of Ottawa; 10 grandchildren: Shane and Christine Piotrowski, Brandon and Trisha Haughn, Chad and Vicky Haughn, Brooke and Michael Gerten, Randy (Sue Fiorucci) Ellerbrock, Lisa and Rod Alt, Brian and Tanya Ellerbrock, Stacey and B.J. Baxter, Bret Bolyard, Scot and Amanda Arnou- Bolyard; and 24 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers: Michal (Michael), Tadeusz (Ted), Antoni (Anthony), Stefan, Stainislaw (Stanislaus), Jan (John) and a sister, Leokadia.
Mike retired in 1988 from the former Philips GTE Plant in Ottawa.  He is a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and the Philips Quarter Century Club.  He enjoyed weekly playing cards with his family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m., Friday, May 1, 2015 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa with Fr Matt Jozefiak  officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.   Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa, where there will be a scripture at 8 P.M. in the Funeral Home. Memorial donation may be made to donor' s choice.
