PANDORA - Nancy Joyce Kline, 70, of Pandora, died peacefully at 8:15 a.m., Monday, January 26, 2026, at Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay. She was born March 5, 1955, in Bluffton, the daughter of Elmer and Mary (Koontz) Binkley, who preceded her in death. On May 9, 1974, she married Keith R. Kline, who survives.
Nancy was a 1973 graduate of Ada High School. She was employed by the Putnam County Sentinel, Ottawa, for many years, where she had served as manager and editor. She was also employed as a freelance writer of Sunday School curriculum and books. She was a freelance clown and ventriloquist and was a member of Clowns of America International. She served as the secretary of the Putnam County New Direction Board, served on the Putnam County EMA/LEPC (Emergency Management Association, Local Emergency Planning Committee), served on the Putnam County Task Force on Underage Drinking and Drugs, and served on the board of Putnam County Habitat for Humanity. Beyond these roles, Nancy served in many other volunteer capacities, receiving numerous awards for her contributions. Nancy also volunteered at several nursing homes in Putnam County, bringing joy to many residents weekly. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Ottawa. During her life, Nancy taught Sunday School for many years and also gave children’s lessons with her beloved puppet Filo.
Also surviving are two children: Kyle Kline of Chapel Hill, North Carolina and Heather (Shawn) Carroccio of Findlay; seven grandchildren; and two brothers: Clair Binkley of Ada and Gary (Irene) Binkley of Bluffton. She was preceded in death by her sister, Anna Beagle (whose husband,William, survives).
Visitation will be held from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 30, 2026, at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Ottawa with Pastor Jim Sharrett officiating. A visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service on Saturday.
