Nancy Lou Dotson
CONTINENTAL - Nancy Lou Dotson, 69, of Continental, died at 9:30 p.m. Friday, June 5, 2015 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. She was born August 13, 1945 in Wauseon to the late Jacob and Elnora (Dickerson) Frank.
She is survived by 4 children: Dana (Ed) Slattman and Darla Dotson both of  Continental,  Donna (Darren) Landin of Ottoville, and Danny (Jenna) Dotson of Continental; 13 grandchildren: Derek, Allen, Autumn, Chaz, Ryan, Erika, Rylee, Cole, Holden, Cailah, Trentyn, Ashlee, and Danny III; 9 great-grandchildren: Caidence, Boston, Dallyn, Cooper, Lilly, Gage, Luca, Arianna, and Tate; a brother: Marion (Nancy) Frank of Palmyra, MI; a sister: Phyllis Frank of Lyons; a brother-in-law: Jack Dawson of Delta; and a sister-in-law: Arlene Frank of  Delta. She was also preceded in death by a son: Dallas Dotson; a grandson: Devon Dotson; 3 brothers: Dale, Harold, and Richard Frank; 3 sisters: Helen Jackson, Opal Meyers, and Marlene Dawson; and a son-in-law: Allen Bartley, Sr.
Nancy was retired from Philips, formerly of Ottawa. She was a member of Continental American Legion Ladies Auxiliary post # 541. She had a big heart and enjoyed making greeting cards. Nancy's family meant everything to her and she loved spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental, officiated by Rev. Terry Porter. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Dupont, at a later date. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, 2 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday all at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.
