Narciso Carrera Bejarano
FORT JENNINGS - Narciso Carrera Bejarano, 78, of Fort Jennings died 4:42 p.m. Thursday, May 7, 2026, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 17, 1948, to the late Marcos N. and Beatrice (Carrera) Bejarano. On May 11, 1978, he married Theresa, who survives in Fort Jennings.
Also surviving are 2 children: Jennifer (Robert) Tuttle of New Hampshire and Kevin (Christin Winter) Bejarano of Delphos; 5 grandchildren: Lorelai Marquis Tuttle, Wesley Winter, Lilyan Winter, Kelsi Hipsher and Kassidy Hipsher; 2 great-grandchildren: Liam Hipsher and Aysen Hipsher; 5 siblings: Decciderio Joseph (Sheri) Bejarano of Columbus Grove, Concepion “Connie” Araiza of Lima, Martha “Lila” Gonzalez of Texas, Maria Luisa Rangel of California and Juanita Scott of Washington DC; 3 sisters-in-law: Gloria E. Bejarano of Hamler, Marcelna Angiano, of Texas, Maria Bejarano of California; a brother-in-law: Hipolito “Paul” Aguirre of Columbus Grove; and a close family friend: Patricia Hipsher of Kalida, and many nieces and nephews.
Mars was preceded in death by 3 sisters: Maria Guadalupe “Mary” Aguirre, Beatrice Ramirez, and Getrudes Cortez; 5 brothers: Victor, Leonso, Marcos, Alfredo and Jose Bejarano; a sister-in-law: Yolonda O. Bejarano and 3 brothers-in-law: Javaier Gonzalez, Domingo Cortez and Higinio Rangel.
Mars retired from PPI in Columbus Grove and had previously worked for Louisiana-Pacific in Ottawa. He enjoyed photography, fishing, hunting, playing guitar, listening to Tejano music and was a big Ohio State football fan. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Putnam County HomeCare and Hospice for their compassionate care during Mars’s illness. They could not have done it without them.
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date. The arrangements are under the direction of the LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Jackson Township. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Putnam County HomeCare and Hospice https://pchh.net/donations/.
