Nellie M. Drew

MILLER CITY- Nellie M. Drew, 97 of Miller City died 12:35 p.m. Sunday, April 5, 2020 at her residence.  She was born March 3, 1923 in Defiance to the late John and Pearl (Brown) Funk.  She had married Howard Drew, he preceded her in death in 1995.

Nellie is survived by two daughters:  Mary (Denny) Insley of Canada, and Cheryl (Roger) Hereford of Miller City; a daughter-in-law: Lunda Drew of Ottawa; ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a sister: Mary Keeran of Payne.

She is preceded in death by a son: Howard Drew Jr.; a daughter: Linda M. Drew; five brothers; and two sisters.

Due to the restrictions regarding public gatherings, a private graveside service will be held Thursday, April 9, 2020 at Monroe Cemetery, Continental.

Arrangements are under the direction of HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental.
