MILLER CITY – Norma J. Riepenhoff, 93, of Miller City, died 9:56 a.m. Saturday, August 16, 2025, at the Meadows of Leipsic. She was born June 7, 1932, in Tiffin, OH to the late Louis E. and Bess (Fisher) Schauder. On March 29, 1952, she married Dallas McKean, who preceded her in death in September 1966. She then married Leonard Riepenhoff on October 19, 1967. He preceded her in death in D ecember of 2004.
Norma is survived by 5 children: Robert (Marlene) McKean of Miller City, Mary Jo (Rod) Mangas of Leipsic, Mark (Colette) Riepenhoff of Saginaw, MI, Barbara (David) Niese of Miller City and Chuck (Johanna) Riepenhoff of Toledo; 7 grandchildren: Tony McKean, Darcy (Rob) Weible, Allison (Corey) McKean, Brian Mangas, Jeff (Deanna) Mangas, Parker Riepenhoff and Ethan Riepenhoff; 9 great-grandchildren: Mackenzie Weible, Dylan Weible, Mason Weible, Jaxon Mangas, Presli Mangas, Brody Mangas, Dominic Mangas, Zaiden Clay, Avi Clay and 1 great-grandchild on the way; 2 sisters-in-law: Mertie Schauder of Fremont and Rita (Herm) Schmenk of Ottawa and a brother-in-law: Jim (Sharon) Rump of Ottawa.
Norma is preceded in death by 2 brothers: Ed (Evelyn) Schauder and Chuck (Judy) Schauder and 2 sisters: Margaret (John) Patterson and Miriam (Floyd) Roof.
Norma was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Miller City, where she had been the parish secretary. She was a member of the Leipsic Eagles Auxiliary and a past member of the Miller City Sportsman Club. She was a member of the Mack and Rita's coffee club and the All 50 States Club. She was a fan of the Cleveland Indians and the Ohio State Buckeyes and enjoyed watching and cheering for both teams. She also enjoyed going to casinos.
Norma's funeral mass will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 21, 2025, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Miller City with Father Scott Perry officiating. There will be a private burial at St. Mary's Cemetery, Tiffin. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic.
