Opal Jean Otto

OTTAWA - Opal Jean Otto, 88, of Ottawa died at 12:04 a.m. Friday, January 13, 2017 at The Meadows of Ottawa. She was born November 23, 1928 in Ottawa to the late Martin and Edna (Blodgett) Radabaugh. On September 26, 1952 she married James Otto who died October 18, 1995.

She is survived by three nephews Daryl "Butch" Radabaugh of Ottawa, Mark (Connie) Radabaugh of Ottawa, Keith (Lisa) Radabaugh of Heron, Michigan and two nieces Cathy (Kevin) Siebeneck of Ottawa and Ann (Brad) Hemminger of Graytown, Ohio. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles Radabaugh, a sister, Zoe Allen and her faithful pets Sam, Charlie, Ben, Mack and Fred.

Opal was a graduate of Ottawa Public High School. She had worked for Edward J. Utendorf Accountant, she was manager of the Radabaugh and Otto Store and later retired as manager of the Readmore Bookstore all formerly of Ottawa. Opal was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Ottawa.

Graveside Services will be held 11 A.M. Monday January 16, 2017 at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Ottawa, Pastor Ken Pollitz will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be made to Putnam County Hospice, Putnam County Library or to Teddy's Rescue of Findlay.  Arrangements are under the direction of LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa where condolences can be expressed at: www.lovefuneralhome.com.
