Orrin Douglas Cavazos

CLOVERDALE – Orrin Douglas Cavazos of Cloverdale, Ohio, passed away on June 2, 2026, at the age of 59. Born in Wauseon, Ohio, Orrin was a quiet and reserved man who valued family, hard work, and the simple pleasures of life. Throughout his life, he worked a variety of jobs, but he especially enjoyed driving truck and took pride in the work he did behind the wheel. Orrin also enjoyed spending time working with Spitnale Concessions, where he found satisfaction in helping out. Though he was not one to seek the spotlight, those who knew him appreciated his steady presence and gentle nature.

He is survived by his wife, Connie Spitnale; his daughters, Sarah Parra, Breanna Granger, Ashley Hart, and Amber Cavazos; and his brothers, Jose Cavazos Jr., Ralph Cavazos, Tony Cavazos, Don Cavazos, and Matt Cavazos.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Alice (Snyder) Cavazos.

Orrin will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his love for his family, and the quiet strength he carried throughout his life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.  

  A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at the Cloverdale Community Club.  A luncheon will follow.  Arrangements are under the direction of HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental.
