Pamela M. “Pam” (Inkrott) Schroeder, RN BSN
NEW CLEVELAND - Pamela M. Schroeder, RN BSN, 63, of New Cleveland, died at 2:36 p.m., Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Mercy Health St. Rita’s, Lima. She was born October 3, 1962, in Lima to the late Karl and Marilyn (Lammers) Inkrott. On November 10, 1984, she married Greg Schroeder who survives in New Cleveland.
Also surviving are four children: Dan (Kim) Schroeder of New Cleveland, Melanie (Saige) Meyer of McClure, Kayla (Taylor) Croft of Toledo, and Marci (Gabe) Roberts of Ottawa; eight grandchildren: Mason, Nolan, Liam, and Ethan Schroeder, Trey, Knox, Pierce, and Blake Meyer, and one on the way; seven brothers and two sisters: Dennis (Brenda) Inkrott of Monclova, Roger (Carol) Inkrott of Wooster, Martin (Carol) Inkrott of Louden, TN, Nicholas (Sharon) Inkrott of Leipsic, Michael (Rebecca) Inkrott of Clayton, Patrick (Rose) Inkrott and Lisa (Louis) Schnipke both of New Cleveland, Julie (John) Riepenhoff of Miller City and Brian (Kelly) Inkrott of Glandorf; father-in-law, Norman Schroeder of Leipsic; and in-laws: Doug (Laura) Schroeder of Leipsic, Mike (Laura Jo) Schroeder of Continental, Jane Pingle and Max (Karen) Schroeder, both of Leipsic.
She was also preceded in death by mother-in-law, Marilyn Schroeder and brother-in-law, Alan Pingle.
Pam was a graduate of St. Vincent School of Nursing. She was a registered nurse at St. Rita’s hospital for over 35 years, where she earned the “Daisy Award” and then in 2016 earned the “Legend Award” for being an extraordinary nurse. During Pam’s final days, many colleagues commented on her positive impact during her years at St. Rita’s. She was a lifetime member of Holy Family Catholic Church, New Cleveland, where she was on parish council and played organ for many years. Pam enjoyed playing games, watching sporting events, and spending time with family. She loved cooking and baking for family and friends, especially her delicious pies. Above all, Pam loved being a mom and grandmother.
Funeral mass will begin 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Holy Family Catholic Church, New Cleveland with Fr. Scott Perry officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Friday and from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. on Saturday at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic.
