Patricia A. Keezer

OAKWOOD – Patricia A. Keezer, 79, of Oakwood, passed away at 10:20 p.m., Thursday, May 7, 2026, at Defiance Inpatient Hospice. She was born December 11, 1946, in Defiance to the late Walter and Esther (Schatz) Schall. On July 1, 1967, she married Carl A. Keezer, who survives in Oakwood.

Other survivors include two children: Scott (Kay) Keezer of Defiance and Sheryl (Scott) Wagner of Oakwood; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Sean Keezer.

Patricia retired from Oakwood Elementary School, where she worked as the head cook for several years. She loved gardening, playing the piano, having pets and spending time with her family.

Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 11, 2026, at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Oakwood with Pastor C. Joseph Fifer officiating. Burial will follow in Sherman Cemetery, Oakwood. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday prior to the service at the funeral home.
