Patricia E. "Pat" Hoersten

OTTOVILLE -  Patricia E. "Pat" Hoersten, 80, of Ottoville died 3:40 p.m. Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at Vancrest of Delphos.  She was born January 13, 1942 in Van Wert County to the late Felix and Mary (Berelsman) Hoersten.

She is survived by her siblings:  Harold Hoersten of Ottoville, Marilyn Girod of Delphos and Clete (Carol) Hoersten of Delphos; a sister-in-law:  Mary Ann Hoersten of Kalida; 11 nieces and nephews:  Lucia Kay (Jim) Bockrath of Ottawa, Regina Lynn (Bob) Fischnich of Kalida; Kevin Eugene (April)Hoersten of Fort Jennings, Jennifer (Brian) Wannemacher of Ottoville, Todd (Barb) Hoersten of Ottoville, Scott (Krista) Hoersten of Ottoville, Michael (Liberty) Hoersten of Columbia City, IN, Kimberly Jo (Bob) Hohlbein of Ottoville, Amy Lynn (Nick) Ebbing of Lima, Jodi (Dave) Kaufman of Lima and Nicholas John (Karissa) Hoersten of Fort Jennings; and many great-nieces and great nephews.

She is preceded in death by a brother: Eugene Hoersten; Sister-in-law: Connie Hoersten and a brother-in-law:  Wayne Girod.

Pat was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville and retired from Teleflex, Van Wert.  She enjoyed scrapbooking and loved to travel and go places.  She volunteered at the Niswonger Performing Arts Center, Van Wert.  Pat enjoyed bowling and once bowled a 300.

Her nieces and nephews, and their families were very important to her.  She loved them all very much and enjoyed watching them in their many sporting events.  She could frequently be found in the park on her golf cart, taking in one of their games.

Pat's funeral mass will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father George Mahas officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Jackson Township where a scripture service will be held at 1:45 p.m.
