Patricia Jean Nichols

PAULDING- Patricia Jean Nichols, 55, of Paulding passed away suddenly Tuesday evening, September 27, 2022 in Paulding to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and loved ones that went to heaven before her. She was born July 11, 1967 in Paulding, OH to the late Rolland and Mary (Stoller) Porter. On February 11, 1995, she married Gregory Lynn Nichols, who survives in Paulding.

Also surviving are eight siblings: Amy (Terry) Campbell, James Porter, Rhonda (Brooks) Priest, Rick (Kathy) Porter, Debra Porter, David (Cheryl) Porter, Sandra King, and Susan Guyton; a brother-in-law, Brian (Teresa) Nichols; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews she loved and enjoyed dearly.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers: Timothy and Jeffery Porter; a nephew, Tommy King; a great-nephew, Robbie Seffernick; and two brothers-in-law: John Guyton and Thomas King.

Pat and Greg helped their fathers in their respective auction businesses for years and continued an auction in Grover Hill after their passing. Pat was a member of the Mandale Church where she served on the board as missionary president. She loved spending time with family and friends, going to church, vacations to the beach, covered bridge excursions, playing card games, and gospel music.

The funeral service for Pat will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 3, 2022 at Mandale Church of Christ in Christian Union, Mandale with Pastor Tony Gonzales officiating. Burial will follow in Little Auglaize Cemetery, Melrose. Visitation will be Sunday, October 2, 2022 from 4-8 p.m. at the Mandale Church, 2820 SR 66 Mandale, and again Monday from 10 - 11 a.m. at the church.

Arrangements are under the direction of HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Oakwood.
