She was a lifelong member of St. John the Baptist church in Glandorf where her entire family was baptized, confirmed, and married.
Patty will be remembered as an accomplished seamstress and craft artist. Her daughters were the recipients of countless pretty dresses and outfits and doll clothes, often all matching. She fired and hand painted many ceramic pieces, which are still displayed in the homes of her children. She was also an imaginative decorator and collector of antiques. Her love of Christmas is legendary in the family. Beginning with house-wide decorations, continuing with thoughtful presents for all, fabulous food and fun games - much love went into ensuring a great time was had by all every year.
Patty's skill in the kitchen was unsurpassed and was much appreciated by all who had the luck to partake.
The family would like to thank the Meadows of Leipsic for their beautiful support of Mom during her assisted living stay. And much gratitude is also extended to Bridge Hospice Center at Findlay Blanchard Valley Hospital for her last week's care.
