Patricia Jean Newell LEIPSIC – Patricia Jean Newell, 85, of Leipsic, passed away at 8:55 a.m. on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at the Meadows of Ottawa.  She was born April 21, 1939, in Leipsic to the late Cletus J. and Viola (Niese) Schroeder.  She had been married to Harold J. Kreinbrink, he preceded her in death on August 29, 2020.  On February 18, 1995, she married John V. Newell, he preceded her in death on August 4, 2022. Pat is survived by two children:  Mark Kreinbrink of Columbus, and Deborah Rice of Pandora; four step-sons:  Robert (Pat) Newell, James Newell, Ron (Patty) Newell, and Jerry (Jane) Newell, all of Leipsic; three grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nineteen step-great-grandchildren; two siblings: Richard Schroeder of Leipsic, and Joann (Thomas) Niese of Lima. She is also preceded in death by a step-great-granddaughter, Mallory Maag, and a sister-in-law, Ruth Schroeder. Pat was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic and its Altar Rosary Society.  She was also a member of the CLC.  Pat was a housewife and farmer.  She loved to spend the winters in Bradenton, Florida. Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic with Fr. Randy Giesige and Deacon Thomas Niese officiating.  Burial will follow in Center Cemetery, Leipsic.  A visitation will be held on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic, and again on Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Parish Life Center, Leipsic.
