Patricia L. Burwell
LEIPSIC - Patricia L. Burwell, 81, of Leipsic died at 7:40 a.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2014 surrounded by her loving family at St. Catherine Nursing Home, Findlay. She was born July 25, 1932 in Lima to the late Norman and Elizabeth (Hawk) Washburn. On January 21, 1951 she married Edward P. Burwell, Sr., who survives in Leipsic.
Also surviving are 5 children: Steven (Karen) Burwell of Lima, Michael (Glenna) Burwell of Tiffin, Sally (Larry) Unterbrink of Columbus Grove, Marjorie (Kenneth) Roberts of Columbus Grove, and Edward Burwell, Jr., of Ottawa; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and 3 brothers: James (Mary) Washburn of Mt. Dora, FL., John (Kay) Washburn of Henderson, NV., and Dean (Bonnie) Washburn, Findlay.
Patricia was a cook for Leipsic Schools for 25 years. She was a member of Leipsic United Methodist Church  and the Leipsic Athletic Boosters. She loved cross stitching and watching Leipsic sports and watching tennis on television.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 15, 2014 at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic with Pastor Bill Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in Sugar Ridge Cemetery, Leipsic. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to Leipsic United Methodist Church.
