Patricia Faye Witt Haines

PANDORA - Patricia Faye Witt Haines, 94, of Pandora, formerly of Norwalk, OH and Port Charlotte, FL., died at 2:48 a.m. Monday, July 25, 2016 at Hilty Memorial Home, Pandora. She was born April 20, 1922 in Ida, MI to the late Milton Witt and Edna (Barnett) Witt Duling. On January 5, 1946 she married Ivan F. Haines who passed away on May 5, 1981.

She is survived by her children: Beth (James) Grna of Monroe, MI, Dan (Lori) Haines of Lexington, OH and Nancy (James) McBride of Ottawa; a sister: Ginger (Bob) Sykes of Ida, MI; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Patricia was a 1940 graduate of Toledo Scott High School. She was employed as a service representative and a secretary before lovingly raising her children. She served her church in many capacities and was a lifelong member of the chancel choir. Patricia was well traveled, an avid reader, and enjoyed gardening and painting.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00  a.m. Friday, July 29, 2016 at Trinity United Methodist Church, Ottawa with Pastor Rick Hart officiating. A private burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Norwalk. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Friday at the church.

The family would like to thank the staff of Hilty Memorial Home, Pandora and Putnam County Hospice for their loving care of Patricia. Memorial contributions may be given in her memory to a charity of the donor's choice.
