Patrick Kelly

FORT JENNINGS – Patrick Kelly, 69, of Fort Jennings, died at 11:57 p.m. on Friday June 6, 2025, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. He was born December 27, 1955, in Canton, Ohio to the late Irwin and Reva (St. Croix) Kelly. On August 25, 1987, he married Rebecca Miehls, she survives in Fort Jennings.

He is also survived by his children: Tammy Macy of Roanoke, IN, Michelle Honigford of Ottawa, Lisa (Ted) Hart of Shreve, OH, and Nicole Goins of Roanoke, IN;  eight grandchildren: Brenden, Brady, Mason, Emily, Jared, Josh, Morgan and Nate; nine great-grandchildren: Jack, Zane, Lena, Braxton, Alex, Owen, Rhett, Charity and Stephen; three sisters: Pam Craig, Penny Coxe and Jennifer Barger.

Patrick was preceded in death by two grandsons: Tyler Hart and Tanner Macy; and two brothers: Philip and Paul Kelly.

Patrick loved working on cars, watching Nascar and Sci Fi movies, and listening to hard rock music. He could be found doing his favorite things while smoking cigarettes and drinking Busch Light. His favorite saying was "It's not the age, it's the mileage."

Funeral Service will begin at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Jackson Township with Fr. Charles Obinwa officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Fort Jennings at a later date.
