Paul J. Mansfield, Jr.

LEIPSIC – Paul J. Mansfield, Jr., 78, of Leipsic, passed away at 12:07 p.m., Thursday, April 30, 2026, at The Meadows of Leipsic. He was born August 15, 1947, in McComb to the late Paul Sr. and Ella (Brooks) Mansfield.

He is survived by his life partner of 47 years, Jim Ruff; two siblings: Lois Crawford of Carmel, IN and Paula Thomas of Paulding; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two siblings: Diana Mattern and Debra Crites.

Paul was a veteran of the US Army serving during Vietnam (1967-1971), earning a Vietnam Service Medal and Vietnam Campaign Medal. He was an excellent cook. Paul always had a way to make you laugh without his filter. He loved his high school friends, music, dancing, playing cards, a good cup of coffee, gardening and spending time with his family.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic.
