Paula K. Engard

LEIPSIC - Paula K. Engard, 61, of Leipsic died at 10:20 a.m. Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at The Meadows of Leipsic. She was born December 7, 1954 in Lima to the late Earl and Aouieda (Shilling) Jones. On January 3, 1971 she married Larry W. Engard who died April 17, 2016.

She is survived by two daughters, Tonia (Gerard) Hovest of Pandora and Tracy (Dave) Coil of Leipsic; nine grandchildren, Travis (Stacy) Hovest, Bud Hovest, Eli Hovest, Brittany (Jurrell) Jackson, Toria Hovest, Amanda Coil, Jodi Coil, Abby Coil, and Nathan Coil; six great-grandchildren, Aiden Hovest, Claire Hovest, Brooklynn Weis, Destiny Paniagua, Teira Paniagua and Bryson Coil; seven siblings, Patti Walters, Earl (Sandy) Jones, Rose (Brett) Tillman, Betty Jones, Carol Kennedy, John (Cathy) Jones, and Wayne (Tonyua) Jones. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Ben Hovest.

Paula worked at the One Stop in Leipsic and was on the Leipsic EMS. She was a member of First Christian Church in Leipsic and the West Leipsic Council. Paula also volunteered for the Viking Readers and Putnam County Hospice.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 18, 2016 at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic with Rev. Tim Eding officiating. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Putnam County Hospice.
