Peggy S. Menke

FORT JENNINGS – Peggy S. Menke, 54, of Ft. Jennings, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2022, at her residence.   She was born May 28, 1968, in Van Wert to William Lee and Raellen (Gleckler) Jenkins.    On July 28, 1995, she married Ronald P. Menke, he preceded her in death on January 5, 2022.

Peggy is survived by her mother: Raellen Hoblet; her father and mother: William (Kathy) Jenkins, both of Van Wert; seven children:  Travis (Charissan) Menke, Kimberly (William) Davis, Krysten (Michael Coombs) Menke, Jessica Wannemacher, Shane Menke, Amber (Kyle) Haskins, and Jacob (Ally) McElroy; seventeen grandchildren; three sisters: Hope O'brien, Lori (Scott) Foster, Michelle (Brian) Altenburger; and a brother: Billy Jenkins.

She is preceded in death by her father: Thomas Hoblet; a son: Rodney Menke; two brothers: Carl Clark and Patrick Clark; a brother-in-law: John Bidlack; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Ralph and Ruth Menke.

Peggy worked at the MicroTel, Delphos as a housekeeper.  She enjoyed riding motorcycles with her husband. Peggy loved her kids, grandkids, and her roses.  She was a great friend to everyone.

Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 4, 2022, at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Jackson Township.  Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Ft. Jennings.  A visitation will be held on Sunday at 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
