Peggy A. McDougle

CONTINENTAL – Peggy A. McDougle, 71, of Continental died at 5:45 p.m. Friday, May 3, 2019 at Van Crest Health Care Center in Delphos. She was born January 7, 1948 in Fort Wayne, IN to the late George William and Thelma June (Schartzengarber) Pitney.  On February 21, 1976 she married Marvin McDougle who died September 12, 2012.

She is survived by a son, Stacy (Connie) McDougle of Continental; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; four brothers, David (Mary Lou) Pitney of Continental, Walter (Lori) Pitney of Ft. Jennings, George (Kim) Pitney of Continental, and Mike (Michelle) Pitney of Continental; and a sister, Becky Swihart of Cloverdale; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Peggy was a homemaker who enjoyed taking care of her nieces and nephews and sewing.

A Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 9, 2019 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental with Deacon Joe Heeter officiating. Burial will follow in Monroe Cemetery Continental. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.
